Art of awe

By using foresight to develop a potential future landscape and action-driven scenarios for the domain, we will have a variety of options and perspectives to inform our core themes. The treatment of the themes and the resulting content needs to reflect sufficient domain depth and breadth to attract the desired audience, participants who we want to be part of the event and to provide detailed briefing for the design team, producers and contractors. The themes should be flexible enough to account for multiple, subjective interactions and feedback. The tonal characteristics, style, feel and overall aesthetics of the event are drawn out through the visualization and rendering. Meanwhile, our task is to make the theme a reality – to give it relevance, empathy, credibility, saliency and a high level of affect. To generate a sense of awe – make it awesome, transformative and compelling.

To achieve this, we are using multimedia and some multisensory audio-visual treatments. While not yet truly immersive, the themes are made interactive and we leverage changing narrative techniques. And a healthy dose of rhizomatic thought.
